Karigo connects people across The Gambia with the rides and skilled professionals they need, booked from one simple app.
What we do
We started with taxi rides — matching passengers with the nearest available driver, with transparent fares and live tracking from pickup to drop-off. Karigo has since grown into a broader services platform: you can also book a technician, plumber, barber, cleaner, or hairstylist the same way you book a ride.
How drivers and professionals fit in
Drivers and service professionals apply through the app and are reviewed before they can accept a booking. Karigo keeps 20% of each fare or job price as a service fee — the remaining 80% goes directly to the person who did the work.
Where we operate
Karigo is based in Sinchu Alagie, West Coast Region, The Gambia, and operates across Greater Banjul and the surrounding areas — Banjul, Serrekunda, Bakau, Brikama, and more.
